The first one was an actual decent movie, especially given who made it. Most people probably just didn't go see it assuming it to be the normal *beep* that Uwe turns out. In the Name of the King was different though and they could have made a real sequal and did good. instead it sounds like it is going to be his normal *beep*

shareThe first one actually SUCKED! The dialouge was cheesy and the acting was really really bad. Seriously man, watch ITNOTK again and listen to the EXTRA CHEESY lines. The action was decent though. Statham did a great job kicking arse.

I don't have a problem as such with Dolph Lundgren, but the storyline does sound a bit weak... I mean - isn't it a lot like Timeline (Gerard Butler and Billy Connelly)?
I'm not sure I'm gonna see number two... Maybe if they had chosen a different actor, who wasn't so typical marine-ish... ;)
haha you guys are pretty funny, I loved the first film. I laughed from start to finish and it was nice to see some big names in the wrong place at the wrong time. But to enjoy this it as a "good" movie is just wrong. Get some booze or smokes and watch that film as the turd that it really is. Trust me it's far more enjoyable that way.

Rampage and Darfur.... That's the only films anyone needs to see of his to be honest. Rampage was just awesome.... I'd swear he didn't direct it but apparently he did. Darfur was a serious film and very sad...but was really good as well. The rest of his films are trash and meant to be....

the german state has something that is called art-supporting,so even if his movies doesnt make any money,the state class it as art and pays for it for cultural development ..
shareRampage was indeed a freaking good movie... never seen Darfur, but Rampage even if it used a bit too much of shaky cam, still had great action, a good plot, and a message.
ITNOTK , the first one, was not bad. I mean, yes it could had be a bit more gory and bloody(in term of sword shot) but overall it was decent, not one of the best but i didn't hated it. I don't know the source material at all. I guess the hate on Boll comes from him butchering video game series, so if your fan of the game you will hate. But you know Boll hardly write his movies? Most of the time the scripted is writed by another person... so can't just blame him totally for bad video games adaptation.
Alice is the worst character of all time, she need to die in the last movie. Chris/Jill are RE !!!
This movie had like a 4 million dollar budget. The first one had 60 million or so.
