Hi Lucy,

I go to church regularly. We have had funerals before for people who have committed suicide. I'm not sure about all branches of Christianity, but in my Baptist church we allow funerals in our church for these cases.

I think God cares for people who commit suicide, because he loves them. I don't think he condemns them for that action. I think he knows they feel they have no hope.

Don't know what goes on in other branches of Christianity, but I know for a fact that, at least in Spain, Catholic Church alows people who have committed suicide to be buried in sacred land. Then again, it's not as if they can afford to be mean about-not so many people go to church nowadays anyway.

I know that this was posted a couple of years ago, I'm watching now on Presto. Cat didn't have her service in a church, it was either the funeral parlour or at a chapel at the cremertorium.
