Reccomendations for stuff like this... by me, and hopefully by you!

I am looking for albums and movies similiar to this.

As far as albums, I'm talking prank phone call stuff like Longmont Potion Castle or Matt Besser's fake-internet-help album. Or Neil Hamburger's "Great Phone Calls". There's also Tom Mabe's "Revenge of the Telemarketers". Then the infamous Tube Bar calls.

Also albums of rants like Charles Manson's stuff and The Janor Device (which also falls in line with the stuff below). Obviously, stuff by Bill Hicks and Carlin and Rickey Smiley might fit this mold too.

Overall weird spoken stuff/yelling/undescribable weird stuff include SHUT UP YOU LITTLE MAN, obviously, as well as Kathy McGinty, not to mention Earles and Jensen.

As far as movies? I really want LONGMONT BOX OPTION, which has the Longmont Potion Castle documentary as well as reenactments and rare phone calls. But there's also the phone call epic CORNDOG MAN as well as RED, which is a 30 minute short based on the Tube Bar calls. Obviously there's the show CRANK YANKERS and the show PHONE JACKERS.

Other weird mostly-spoken stuff, or filled with weird broken music, includes Jandek, Wild Man Fischer, and some stuff by the Frogs (can't forget some early Zappa and the between-song banter on Beefheart's "Trout Mask Replica").

Of all the stuff I just mentioned, I HIGHLY reccomend LONGMONT POTION CASTLE. It is bizarre as hell and funny as hell to boot. Get everything (like, 9 albums at this point).

And that's really all I know of. I'm looking for any prank phone call stuff, weird rant stuff, or just anything with lots of talking or yelling.

One super weird one I found is calling AT HOME WITH NEIL PERRY, which is just a guy screaming (literally) about losing his job because he jerked off in the bathroom. It's creepy and hilarious. Another great thing, if you can find it (soulseek is your friend) is THE HUMAN LOBSTER, which is just a kid listening to the radio and occasionally screaming his head off to the songs. Finally, ALL social overdose albums feature a guy screaming and vomitting and beating on coffee cans and playing N64 games. I guess I could include Runzelstirn and Gurgelstock, as well as Gastric Female Reflex, which often use weird cut up stuff including them yelling and breaking things and running into folded chairs and farting and whatnot.

So, yeah, anything like that.

Do you know Boyd Rice/Non? You might really love his stuff.

This probably isn't exactly what you were looking for--because it's not prank calls or live/unscripted audio, but...somehow many years ago I picked up a CD called 'Spare Ass Annie and Other Tales', which is recordings of William S Burroughs reading some of his works set to music by The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy (sp?). Being from William S Burroughs, it's obviously pretty dark, with lots of drug references and weird sexual stuff (but what else do you expect from him??) but somehow quite compelling. If you haven't heard it before, you might check it out.
