Would you? *possible spoilers*

Say a member of your family- a sister or a brother, went missing. Would you go to the extremes that Libba did? With the searching and stuff?

I would, if my sister went missing there is no way i would be able to rest not knowing where she is and if she is okay. I probarly would be a bit selfish and not take everyone elses cases on, Cos thats just adding waay too much stress and taking time away from the main cause of finding my sister.
I agree with Libba when she was freaked out by her parents 'giving up' i would be shocked if my parents gave up before me. I know my mum, and i know if anything ever happened to me or my sister she would not rest until she knew where we were or what happened to us, no way would she ever give up. I would most likely give up before my mum ever would.

You hate us 'cause we're beautiful, Well we don't like you either

I know it’s been months since you posted this, but I’ll reply anyway.

I know that I would look for my kids – I don’t have any sisters. But Ashley was 23 years old and a long time crack addict. In Libba’s own words, Ashley “was mentally ill, drug-addicted and homeless when she vanished.” I don’t think her parents gave up, I think that the time that Libba wanted them to spend investigating her disappearance was unrealistic based on Ashley's history. I don’t think there are many parents who ever really give up hope. Don’t forget, the time that Libba spent looking for Ashley was the cause of her divorce. Libba also says "I do think our story has some happy outcomes, even as Ashley appears and disappears from our lives." You can read more of what Libba has said about Ashley's disappearance and the founding of Outpost For Hope at their website, http://www.outpostforhope.org/what-we-do/founders-message.html You can read more about what Libba, 'the hopeful navigator,' is doing at http://www.libbaphillips.com
