A decent enough entertaining film but not as good as the original.

Expendables Director's cut has the most interesting story line/characters I think.
But The Second one is more fun. Has more action sequences. Better filmed action shootouts/fights ect. - No Shaky cam. JCVD is more menacing villain than Eric Roberts but he's underused.
Yes, it's a good simple action movie.
i prefer the series like this...

i just re-watched both the 2nd/3rd movies very recently and they held up as that makes my 2nd viewings of each movie. the first one i won't bother seeing again as it's somewhat dull.
