I love movies like this. It's an adventure hybrid in the tradition of Raiders of the Lost Ark and Pixar's Up. They don't even shy away from making the obvious references. It's fun and nice to look at and makes a pretty good Saturday afternoon popcorn feature. I do agree that the story and plot would be lost on younger viewers, but it should appeal to those with an adventurous spirit.

Couldn't agree more, it wasn't the most original movie, but it felt like it somewhat embraced the adventurous (a'la indiana jones) spirit, and I love that feeling. It just makes me crave more adventure and fills me with inspiration of going forward and searching for lost temples and treasures myself; if only I could.

I wish we get more of these in years to come, to whisper into our minds of things that might have been..
