Just about every review writer listed in the reviews page has joined in the past two weeks and has written only one reviews. They all give the movie a ten and say the same thing.

Someone mentioned Carmilla, and I seem to remember reading a story over 30 years ago about a Carmilla who also ended up being Mircalla. It was a vampire story. Is this the story this movie attempts to tell?

Yes, it is my understanding that this film is based loosely on Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu's Gothic novella Carmilla.
