Where can I see this?

Where can I see it?

And no, I don't live in the US...

But the thing is, I always try to watch ALL Oscar nominated movies, even shorts... would appreciate any info or torrent info :)

Thanks!

The nominated short films (both live action and animated) are all available for download on iTunes...except for Na Wewe and The Gruffalo — for some reason the copyright holders of these two films haven't yet placed them with iTunes. Bad move, because nominated shorts on iTunes are a very hot download...right up to the day of the Oscars ;-)

If I find either of them before Oscar Night, I'll let drop you a post here — now, see to it that you extend the same courtesy to me, Agent Starling ;-)

The closest I've come is the trailer at www.shadowandact.com/?p=37676.

In a discussion on www.facebook.com/home.php#!/pages/The-Oscar-Nominated-Short-Films/191943604152618 this week, they said there were "technical issues" with "Na Wewe," but it'd be available soon. I've kept checking back, and it's not there.

Here's some of the above-referenced discussion:

"The Oscar Nominated Short Films We're having a few technical issues with Na Wewe but I've been assured that it will be available soon.

"The Oscar Nominated Short Films: Hi All, just wanted to address a few of your queries. Because of the incredibly quick turnaround for this release (2 weeks after the announcement of the nominees -- agreements, prints, pr, etc...), several license holders would only grant r...ights to certain platforms. As such, films like the nominated documentaries and The Gruffalo could not be released on iTunes. We did our best to update our promotional materials to reflect this. Unfortunately, many of these had to be signed off a few months prior to launching and there was no way of updating all of them in time. I know many of you are disappointed. We feel your frustration and can only promise to maintain transparency in future campaigns however tight the timelines. Thanks for your support!

I would strongly advise against illegally downloading from various sources. When you download from a site like Itunes, you know what you're getting. However, most who use sites like Bit Torrent and others leave themselves susceptible to viruses, worms, and other Trojans that are put placed by hackers, are strategically placed by music and movie studios themselves. Additionally, you are leaving an audit trail that can easily implicated you for civil and criminal penalties. Just be smart about what you do. There are legal ways to cheaply and effectively watch your favorite movies and listen to your favorite music.

Itunes doesnt let non-American users download these movies so there is no other way than reaching these movies illegally!
