Surprisingly good for a very low budget film

With a minimal budget, they have made a very entertaining film. There are, of course, no fancy special effects or even any elaborate costumes. What they were able to provide with little money was an original storyline, told in a very humorous way. The actors who play the mother, the girlfriend and the buddy with the grappling hook all do a great job. For me, an engaging original story beats pointless special effects with no coherent story.

Since no one else is on this board, I will reply to myself. The strength of this movie is a great story. The screenwriter did a great job. Basically, Randall is a parking enforcement officer (in other words a meter maid) who finds out he has a terminal illness and will die soon. His girlfriend, mother, buddy and boss all want to do things "for him" to make his last days better. However, they all really want things for themselves, that he does not want. They use his illness as an excuse to force him to do what they want, with the excuse that it is for him. It is very thought provoking.
