I read the script over a year ago and loved it. Been looking forward to seeing the movie but it seems to be taking a long time to come out. Anyone got any updates?

According to IMDb, the filming is completed, and Brooke Anne Smith also mentioned it was to be out "very soon" on her twitter. However, she never gave a specific date beyond that.

Maybe they're going to wait and release it around Halloween 2012?

Well, at the very least, they've got the trailer out, going by Brooke Anne Smith's recent Twitter update. I'd watch it myself, but unfortunately, besides my not being a horror fan, I also kinda imposed a self-ban on Youtube. I can't state why for reasons that if I did, I'd risk starting a political argument.

Finally! Wish it were coming to Blu-ray too but since it's not I'll probably just buy the DVD.

Release date is 6th October
It will be out with the new title of Devils Night.
