They made a movie last year by this same name,are they related??

Not really,they're both slasher flicks set at Halloween..

Exactly, there is nothing similar but the name, and that both movies have a young woman home alone watching a horror movie, and the intruder comes in the house, and it's Oct 30th, both women live...in fact come to think of it the differences are fewer than saying "two completely different films"!? The biggest difference is one chic is blind and the other chic is a killer.
