Why are people complaining about the dialogue?

Because dinosaurs don't talk. Alsp the dubbed soundtrack made it seem cheap and patronising.

Because it was very obviously a last minute decision, which it actaully was by studio executives.
And Walking With Dinosaurs was supposed to be an educational film, just as the TV-show was. Did you see voices in there for the dinosaurs? No.
