I take it that it's not a remake of Nicholas Meyer's 1979 classic
That movie was anything but cute. It was quite bloody, actually.

shareIt is NOT a remake. Nor at take off of Cyndi Lauper's song or anything. It's mildly interesting....
Movie titles are not copyrightable, the same as book titles aren't...nor any works of art.

Movie titles are not copyrightable, the same as book titles aren't...nor any works of art.... nor song titles. One of my pet peeves is that authors don't come up with unique titles and then match an old standard's name, often to their mediocre work. I had already tallied some negatives that will get me to pass on this one. Being reminded of the ripoff of the 1979 Malcolm McDowell classic solidified my decision. Reusing titles may be legal, but it definitely is not cool.
Although I enjoy the 1979 film, calling it a "classic" is probably a bit of a stretch.
