This wasn't 'Charlie's angels'

This show felt more like one of the syndicated action shows of the 1990's like VIP and She Spies, which are campy but only for casual viewing. I haven't seen Charlie's Angels the original in a few years but I don't remember them being flashy clubbing international spies, planning Mission Impossible style breakins, poisoning people and having unlimited resources. I thought this could bring the genre of old school detective action mystery genre back but this wasn't it.

A lot of people think She Spies was better than this.

IT IS CANCELLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HORAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!

Why do you care? Do you consider it some sort of personal vindication that it was canceled?

I'll never quite understand people who are happy a television show they don't like and don't watch is canceled.

For the record, I didn't like this new Charlie's Angels very much either, but my 11 year old daughter did, so I would "sort of" watch them with her.

Totally agree with you rstrzal-1, as i said in another post, they were going overboard trying to attract a young audience. I'm convinced that is why they threw in all the crazy mission Impossible breakins and flashy stuff and made sure everyone on the show(including the Bosley character) was eye candy. I think it would actually have worked had they been truer to the original Charlie's Angels show of the 70's.

I agree. As much as I loved "She Spies," that was not what I was expecting when watching "Charlie's Angels." Where "She Spies" was designed to be campy, I felt this show was unintentionally campy in its attempt at being light-hearted and fun.

She Spies was a better show I do agree with that :D

Drew Barrymore was trying to do something different and to be honest it would have worked but it was just bad casting which killed the project. The angels had no chemistry with each other what-so-ever and they were very unrealistic to portray criminals trying to improve themselves. Had she cast stronger leads to convey that then it could have been maybe a bit better.
