Toni's Boys (OT-ish)
Does anyone think the failed "Charlie's Angels" backdoor pilot "Toni's Boys" could work today?
I'm thinking it could, especially if it was done in the vein of Michael Bay's "Bad Boys" franchise meets the modern 007 films, or Dexter meets CSI if for TV
for the leads, not sure... they'd all have to be funny and decent at drama ... an interesting set could be...
-Pooch Hall - as the fun charismatic character (Mike Lowry "BB" x Natalie Cook "CA")

-Emile Hirsch - as the sporty badass, with an edge

-J.D. Pardo or Joseph Gordon-Levitt - as the sarcastic gentlemanly character (his character in "Inception" meets Phil Wenneck "Hangover" type)

*Another interesting aspect I was thinking that if they really wanted to tie the series to the original they could have one of the Angels of the past take over Toni's role, maybe Jaclyn Smith (Kelly)... Kate Jackson's character was more feminist, so I doubt she'd start an all male P.I. agency - or bring back Shia Labeouf who played Max in Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle as one of the leads to bring in viewers, but then they'd have to go with a younger cast
