Mercifully Canceled

And none too soon. Five minutes into the first episode I couldn't believe how bad the acting was. Thanks for canceling this. I have newly restored faith in Hollywood.

your and idiot and a beep beep.

reply

I had a feeling that the show wasn't going to last a full season since the fan and critic reception to the reboot was pretty bad.

What does a TV show have to do with Hollywood [movies]?

Is this a serious question???? Who do you think makes television shows? Kiebler elves?

lmao. I was wondering when someone was going to address that comment.

You have faith in Hollywood? Really? FOUR episodes aired of some of the most god awful acting and writing the little screen has ever seen and you still have faith in Hollywood? For this to make it past a script is proof that TV is dying.

reply

TV is far from dying. It's just the broadcast networks that are hanging on by a thread. The only people taking any risks are the programming directors at channels like HBO, AMC, Showtime, etc.

reply

well the Charlie's Angel's movie was good the one from 2000 and i was so hyped when i first saw it. the 70's version was really good just some pepole that watched these shows and became Tv pepole may have forgot how the classic's worked look at the remake of Splinter Cell still is good but the gragpoics are super good and new things.

Thanks for coming on here to tell us all that. Without people like you to warn us about what you don't like, we will never have to form an opinion of our own. You are a hero.

Awul show, awful acting!

reply

Awful show awful acting ?? thats more like Jersey Shore & Pan Am (which is could be cancelled.....i really hope it is.) While i won't loose any sleep now it's cancelled i liked it.

reply

OK networks please give up on the nostalgia angle. First the dumb Playboy Club and then this even dumber show. How long before PanAm falls from the skies?

reply

I'm honestly not surprised. BUT while the show isn't for me, I actually thought the it could do well with certain audience. CW should pick it up.

reply

Not surprised in the least that it has gotten the ax. When you try to bring back an old show with new faces, it's make or break. Not many remakes have made the cut.

reply

Now i can finish hating on this show and give Allen Greggory my full attention. That show is sooooo freaking bad! a guy who is straight but forced into a homosexual relationship, a school that wants it's principle to have intercourse with a 7 year old... ekk the list goes on and on.

yeah i didn't like it much either it was hard to watch the acting was painfull. I saw the first episode and never went back to it. I liked the movies and the original series I wounder why this one couldnt work.

reply

As bad as the acting was I'm inclined to blame the writers. I can't imagine its that easy to act well when the script is a steaming pile of guano.

At least we agree on something. Has anyone ever seen any women ex-cons that hot? Also, it's highly unlikely that e ven Florida would issue private detective licenses to them with their records.

reply

I actually have to agree. I have never ever seen a more embarrassing effort of trying to make a TV show. Even very bad ones have something: one actor, music, a specific style .... something. Charlie's Angeles was not just bad but completely soulless.
