Weirdness

I'm about 35 minutes into the first disc, and suddenly something "worthy" of The History Channel popped up:
A clip from the film 'Tearing Down The Spanish Flag' by J. Stuart Blackton(Vitagraph 1898) is shown. A hand reaches up from the bottom of the screen and tears down the "Spanish" flag, and an American flag is then raised.....which has 48 stars, 14 years before the 47th & 48th states were added. Curious!
