Paying 5,000 on the spot didn't seem very smart to me, Traci had nothing to match them against and they could have easily been fakes, lucky for her they weren't but she should be more careful in the future.

I’m not convinced that Wonder Woman lasso was authentic enough to go for that price, since the one that was featured predominantly on the show was a lot thinner. The one they sold was basically a glorified stunt prop. For Tracey McCall being a "fan" of the show, she should have had some sort of knowledge about the costume changes, enough to be willing to put up $5,000 for it. Then again, she didn't have the common knowlege that The Dude's sweater was really Jeff Bridges' and would not be in some costume shop.
