Fine tuned their format - better

It appears they reworked the shows format slightly for Season 2. Focusing less on the work back at their offices and preparation for the auctions. Focusing more on showing the items as they are "discovered" at the search sites. Less time on the auctions too.

Show moves smoother, faster and gets more props and memorabilia into view.

Actually, it's still Season 1, not 2. They just broke it up into two parts. After a brief hiatus, they resumed with Season 1, Episode 13. Just thought I'd point that out.

It is better but they could still tweak it a bit. Online I discovered that the auction that had the "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" car also included the crystal ball that the Wicked Witch used in "The Wizard of Oz" and it wasn't mentioned on the show. More about the items auctioned and fewer scenes of them driving around/horsing around would be nice.

Agreed. And longer too, I believe. Really addicted to this show. Hate that I'm caught up now! haha

This show just started airing on FTA where I live. Finally a "pickers" show I can enjoy. I love movies and TV and seeing all those pieces of entertainment history, so this hits the sweet spot for me.

Having said that, the show is too fast-paced and short -- I could easily watch hour-long episodes. Slow it down, let's enjoy looking at these fantastic items! Less of the drama. And more items per episode.
