This is 45...

Haha, I thought the title of your post was a point about how old the main characters LOOK. Leslie Mann looks like a well-preserved 45 at least, in this. The movie really hammered at how HOT she is, and her body is definitely fantastic, but her face looks old. Not wrinkly, but she has that hard, sunken look that women get when they choose their bodies over their faces.

She also has a granny voice - like an old timey kindergarten teacher. Ick.

And as cute as Paul Rudd is, he looks older than 39. I'd put him at 46, where my own husband is.

And to address your actual question, I don't think they'd be in a better situation in five years. They'd still be living in a house WAY too big for them, their kids would still have a million pricey latest-model electronics, and their poor daughter would be saddled with a ton of student loans for college.

Are they really doing a sequel.?
