Maybe this is Judd Apatow's 40? The age being presented here is more like 50. One that includes, viagra, prostate exams, and characters mourning the loss of their youth when both leads are still attractive and active. It didn't help that the entire family was so damn unlikable. What a mess of a movie.
shareHaving passed both of these ages, I totally agree with you. These issues truly are closer to "this is 50" rather than 40.
At 40 I still very much felt a world away from this stuff and still felt part of the section of my life that could be labelled "young." Certainly active and not yet mourning any loss of youth.
This really was stuff that's more like 50, especially for the viagra issues.
