Everything worked in this movie, to me, especially Aubrey Plaza. I thought she was hilarious; perfect amount of awkward. It wasn't predictable, at least, I didn't find it to be. Definitely enjoyed it!

I thought this movie was hilarious, too! I'm actually really surprised at most of the negative feedback that its received.
Apparently it's just a vocal minority of people who come on this board specifically to diss the movie... There was a thread on Film General about The To Do List and the reactions were almost universally positive.

Watched this bc of Aubrey Plaza, thought it was a cute movie. Decently funny throughout, and glad it didn't end as I expected. I do wish we got to see some titties in it tho.
edit: Oh also I enjoyed all the 90's nostalgia. The props people did a great job of getting all that together (scrunchies, vhs tapes, Hypercolor!!! etc etc)
