Jennifer Lawrence in Like Crazy

I was just wondering how significant her Jennifer Lawrence's part is in the movie given she isn't one of the main characters? how long is her section?

reply

From what I can remember from Sundance, her scenes were very limited. Maybe 4 or 5 scenes in total. I thought her presense was really strong and she did a solid job as a supporting.

reply

Her presence was strong in the trailer alone!

I mainly saw it for her and I was disappointed in that.

reply

She was in it more than I expected her to be. I felt so bad for her because she was so in love with Jacob.

She was the best part of it IMO. The movie as a whole was disappointing after all the Sundance hype. JL can pretty much shine in any film.

i thought the two lead actors were brilliant but it is a testament to jennifer that i kinda wanted jakob to stay with her. lol

I bet she's the best part of the film. She looks beautiful in the trailer.

reply

Jennifer Lawrence only has a handful of scenes, but she's solid--she's not the best part of the film, the 2 leads are great.

She steals the show a bit in a few scenes.... and she looked incredibly sexy in this....

It is kind of funny how this is the 2nd film that her and Anton Yelchin did together since they first worked together on the Beaver.

da scene where he breakz up wid her and a tearz slowly comin down her face is just heart-breakin...i really felt it. unfor, she wuz da only real actor in dis borin movie.

I live, I love, I slay, and I'm content

She did a good job, but her character unfortunately seemed to only exist as a plot device (one of the two a romantic wedge between the central romantic pairing)

Its so easy to laugh, so easy to hate, it takes strength to be gentle and kind

Her character was the only adult in the movie. The only one who generated any sympathy.

If she's the only reason you're gonna watch it then don't watch it. She's hardly in it. But she made me feel for her in her last few scenes more so than the leads even.

Reality is a lovely place, but I wouldn't want to live there.

I wasn't talking to you. Had no intention to. I clicked on the OP and replied to them. Giving them advice. If I like an actor and there's a movie with them in it I would like to know whether or not I should sit through a whole film in the hopes of seeing them. But yeah, in other words, I wasn't replying to you. Thanks anyway.
