Where are the ruins with the fallen chimney?

The same filming location is used in many films including Battle of Los Angeles, Digital Man and APEX. It looks like the ruins of a big factory site and they frequently run and shoot through a giant fallen factory chimney. Anyone know where this site is? It's such a perfect location.

Hello. The location for Battle of Los Angeles was Eagle Mountain, CA. Located in Riverside, County in the Colorado desert. It's great for a post apocalyptic setting.
