It's now being called ATTACK Los Angeles...

Thought this was interesting. I saw this flick a few months ago when it premiered on SyFy Channel, but last night I was flicking thru the On Demand movies on my cable TV, checking out random movie trailers to see if anything looked interesting, and this one came up under the title "Attack: Los Angeles."

I guess 20th Century Fox (or whoever made the "real" Battle: Los Angeles movie) must've had their lawyers give the Asylum a call, huh?

WATCHING IT NOW ON SYFY on Nov 4th 2012. It is still called "Battle of Los Angeles tonight in guide and the movie itself.

But the details on the main page here for this movie alos known as "Attack: L.A.

In On Demand listings, they are done alphabetically. The films toward the top of the list tend to get watched more as people get tired of scrolling. To call it Attack: Los Angeles puts it ahead on the list compared to Battle: Los Angeles and thus...gives it further reason to be listed first and possibly get more blind views as a result.
