Will Gannicus Join Spartacus' Revolt?

If there is a new season, will Gannicus show up to fight with Spartacus and perhaps to have that grudge match with Crixus?

Will civilian life agree with Gannicus now that he has to pay for sex and drink rather than have it given to him?

I think it's possible that Gannicus could find a job as a bodyguard to a rich man that's what gladiators and former gladiators have often done back in the days of the Roman Empire.

Maybe he might find that too dull. Or perhaps his employer lives in a villa that is directly in Spartacus' path?

Could be interesting to see....

It has been confirmed that Gannicus will join the revolt. I wonder if he will have trouble taking orders from Spartacus or Crixus. It seems the only person that he would take orders from would be Doctore.

could be a major source of conflict. although as far as women go, it would be a hell of alot easier to get laid than having to be rewarded for you winnings in the arena. im pretty sure women arent a problem for gannicus

He was a slave that what his way of life, plus historcially he was in Sparty's posse. The only possible tension would come from Crixus towards Gannicus but seein how Crixus did actually become humble towards the end I hope not. Buttttt again historically Crixus did go rogue on Sparticus so will intersting to watch.

I don't get why people keep going on about this "grudge match". The only grudge was on Crixus' side, but even then he liked and respected Gannicus - their rivalry was very different to that between Spartacus and Crixus. I think if there's any trouble it's going to be from them! As for how Gannicus gets involved - we can but see! I do think he was a changed man after Melitta's death though, he was the first of the gladiators to realise that fighting for the house of Batiatus really didn't mean anything.

He never cared for Batitatius he just wanted to be the best while he could, he had accepted his demise 1 day just wanted to live the rock star life while he could !

It will take something significant to trigger Gannicus'involvement in fighting and violence again. Maybe he will join to avenge O's death or something like that. As for the drinking, that was just an escape, so it it pretty much over.
As for women, it will be interesting to see if he goes back to casual encounters or settles down with someone who bears a striking resemblance to Melitta.

Oeney's not gonna be too pleased if he ever finds out that Ganny persued and even had his wife on the verge of cheating with him when fate intervened in the poison. Perhaps now he understands why people don't cheat... you end up dying by poison.

Awesome ideas...was thinking the same thing about him becoming a bodyguard of some type...i dont think he'll like life on the outside of the lutus. Cant wait to see how the writers intertwine thier paths...

More like an NCO or officer in the Spartacus' group - after some time Spartacus roamed with about 70.000 men which should have been sufficient as body guards...
