I think Jessica Lucas would be perfect. She has a similar look to Lesley-Ann Brandt, so the change won't seem that drastic. (Not sure if she'd want to do any of the nudity though).

She was billed 3rd in Big Momma's House, a movie with a budget of 32 million. It doesn't really matter if the movie sucks or not, I'm trying to discuss her place in Hollywood and how much money she commands to do a show or movie.
So what I'm saying is this girl recently got 3rd billing in a 32 million dollar movie. Lesley-Ann Brandt is passing up doing Spartacus: Vengeance in order to do a recurring role on CSI:NY and to attempt to catch on with a TV pilot.
I'm saying that Jessica Lucas is way ahead of Lesley-Ann Brandt in the Hollywood acting scene. I'm saying the part of Naevia in Spartacus: Vengeance is pretty low on the food chain, and it obviously requires nudity and doesn't pay well, therefore there is no way Jessica Lucas could/would take the part.

shareI am sad Leslie decided not to return for the second season. While Jessica Lucas is pretty, I cant see her as Neavia and isn't she a little young to play the role? Manu Bennett has a pretty manly, mature look about him and somehow I cant picture these two as Crixus and Neavia.
Do they actually need to replace her? I wondered if they might simply decide that Crixus never finds her.

I agree - as far as we know, Naevia is not a character from history and could have been just as much of an incitement for Crixus to go rogue dead as alive.
Besides, with a dead Naevia, the speculations about if she would return or not but with a new actor's face would become unnecessary...
