watched on Netflix

I thought it was touching, funny and honest.

I actually didn't read the description, and thought I was in for a stand up special, but as soon as I figured this is about his tour where he is taking care of his dad, I was still on board.

Yes, he teases his dad, but his dad is a tough fellow as well and has his lines for his son as well. I know it would be weird if my mom and I stopped joking around.

It's nice to see someone who while not exactly a Class A celeb, but still celeb enough, try to do the right thing by his family above the party life. You can really see that he wants to care for his dad, and get some quality time with him while he can.

Someone reviewed this saying that his father needs to be in a retirement home, and while I understand the notion and understand why some feel they need to do that, I can see how Jim is doing the right thing. Many cultures make this type of thing priority that you care for your folks as they did for you, and there is not a thought about putting them in an old folks home. And many of those places are just terrible, and it's hard to know what a modest amount of money will get you. I wish there wasn't that issue, but it is an issue. And I know if my mom only had a few years left, I would want to be with her. Above anything, our love keeps us strong.
