The most important part of this documentary...

You can't miss this part. It's before the second debate and Romney is discussing strategy and he says "Obama will talk about what he's gonna do, what am I gonna say about what I'm gonna do?" and there's silence. This man has been running for president for 5 years and never had a true vision or plan for this country. This was one of the core reasons he lost. He was great at criticizing but could never offer any solutions.

He just felt the job was entitled to him. Most of his supporters when asked about why they're voting for him only expressed anger with Obama. No one wanted to vote for Romney for Romney, it was at most times a vote against Obama

Well...to be both honest and fair about it, I think that many a vote for Obama was largely a vote against "anything the GOP puts out there". I think both sides are pretty much represented by their core values and this time around (and the previous) more people wanted what the Democratic party was offering.

Now on the other hand...I am sure that some people voted on "feel". And this could have had the simultaneous effect of people voting for and against Romney for that reason.

But getting back to his "vision or plan"....where exactly was that moment you are referencing in the film?

If you think Romney didn't have a plan, then you weren't paying attention during the campaign. Repeal and replace Obamacare (so u can actually keep your plan), apprve keystone pipeline, reduce the national debt, lower capital gains tax, stop "leading from behind" on the world stage (which is currently working out so well), and getting the economy going again.

But the election came down to the "War on Women" and the "War on Big Bird".

...much more than that...if you were paying attention during the campaign.

That's not a plan so much as a collection of Buzzwords which became popular on the right, Romney never had a platform there is a scene in the film where he's talking about small businesses and saying those guys don't get it because their lawyers who have never owned a business but he never goes into specifics about the problem in taxes and all his campaign promises were directed towards policies which benefit only the biggest corporations and the "Small businesses" are typically large companies masquerading as individuals.

He was nervously chattering to himself moments before the big event, not formulating strategy. Seems like he was trying to remind himself not do what you're criticizing him for, which isn't easy when debating the acting President. Notice throughout his political career Obama never challenged anyone, a pure bag of hot air
