I though Mormons aren't suppose to drink caffeine? Throughout the film, there are shots of Coke and diet Coke being consumed by the Romney family.

They aren't supposed to drink coffee or some types of tea. The amount of caffeine as well as other ingredients in those beverages are considered unhealthy and addicting, so they are advised against drinking them. Soft drinks are not included in this.

If caffeine is unhealthy, why would they drink it in soda? It's a thousand ties worse.

They can drink caffeine. It just something they say to use in moderation
