Just don't watch it if you like puppies.

Oh God... Why? What's with the puppies? :C

There is a scene where they perform an operation on a puppy. The puppy feels no pain during the op and it survives. Hope that puts your mind rest! However the op is quite graphic.

Apart from the fact that, with no anaesthetic, the puppy remains perfectly still.
