Reminiscent of "The Cell" (2000)
I watched this tonight on Netflix and got totally absorbed. That sci-fi plot was so well done and acted that it was easy to get convinced in believing it was happening. I wanted to see him get out of that guy's mind so he could rejoin his family again.
As I watched though, I got reminded of The Cell. It pretty well had the same premise as this film except that the criminal's mind wasn't warped or deranged with all sorts of insane, sometimes striking visuals, like in The Cell.
There was also that goal in finding the real truth that lurked somewhere deep in the recess of their memories.
This is a really good film. It relied on knowledge instead of special effects, unlike in The Cell. 🎥
