I gave this film an 8 and I'm NO INSIDER! I didn't even know this was a low budget film, because the plot was so intelligent enough and the story moved at a fast pace... great watch.
Also I can relate to being blacked out and taking things from all over and believe things without even knowing if they are true! Great to see that in a film. :) Great job guys!
Low budget isn't any qualifier for the quality of intellectual property/content creation. I wish it were, then it is easier to filter out the great movies.
Just watch the shorts of some of the film students/creative talent out there, which can easily compete with 100M $ upward productions.

I am also not an "insider" and I gave this movie an 8. it is a superb science fiction movie.
More money might have given it some "Glossier" sfx and fancier computer displays, but would not have made the story any more powerful.
A top notch movie and I will be looking out for more from the writer director!
