Thing was pretty damn close to perfect in the genre and all you PA1,2,3 lovers probably won't get it, it's way too entertaining for you pack. It's about time we had a real thrill filled ghost story without 30 minute long stills of people sleeping & a door squeaking!

I just thought it was another knock off, turned out to be some of the most intense and fun scares I've had in a LONG f-ckin time. Better then the PA series IMO.

While I think the movie was good and fun to watch. I also think you give it too much credit. It does fallow similar formula , if not the same of most of these types of movies. I like how it handled physiological issues and so forth. Always a huge plus for me when they do it in a respectful manner and it's a fun movie. I watch a lot of horror movies myself and while I enjoy it. Not in my top ten list.
