Smirk on her face

At the end of the bedroom scene....
that was pretty clever/freaky.

The father tells a story how his wife had "a twisted smirk on her face".

Then all of the stuff starts happening with the daughter in her room. She's pleading to the father to help her.... and when she finally comes down what does she do? She gives him a twisted smirk.
Almost like the whole thing was just to torment him.
