Incoherent trash with big names attached to it

I wish I could get back the 90 minutes of my life I wasted on this.

There is no story. No ending. Nothing in this "movie" makes sense. The excuse is that this is "inspired by a dream" and since dreams usually don't makes sense therefore neither does this.

When a movie directed by Coppola starring Val Kilmer still cannot find theatrical distribution you know something is seriously wrong. At least give credits to the theater owners who refuse to accept garbage like this.

1) It has one of the worst looking filming I've seen since 1980 VHS porn flicks.
2) FFC somehow manages to make good actors look terrible. If I didn't know Val, I'd think he sucks if I went by this film. Elle as well... the horror of this film, is that it's so bad.

3) The FX are like watching amatuer green screen FX. Terrible.

How this even has a 6.0 rating right now is unbelieveble. It should have a 1 from all the talent attached.

@3)i couldnt get over that. in basically every scene kilmer seems to be standing before a greenscreen with the worst editor you can think of. nothing against a surreal look, but it was done very poorly.

Definetly 7 million poorly spent. While I was watching I was sure that the budget was much smaller because of the poorly implemented SFX.

Well, looks like I have to watch this now. I watched one of his earliest last night, and it was a no-frills horror flick that was quite excellent. If he can do something like that on a meagre budget, I would like to see what happens here.

Maybe it's that CCF's not ready for the modern age and CGI.

But this still sounds like something I need to see, based on the negative press here. Thanks.

agreed. Total, complete junk. Actually quite astonished at how badly done this was.
