Might have something original to say about this...

OK, I am not going into whether this was good or not, but
I would like any of you to ponder something:

Does this or doesn't this movie remind you of one of those
90's PC games when the CD-ROM just started getting put into
regular IBM clones. Those awesome(or some not so much) horror
puzzle games filled with Full Motion Video(FMV), like the
famous The 7th Guest http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TOkdq55zhw

in fact I'll bet you anything that at least Bruce Dern was in some
of them.

The movie reminded me of Silent Hill 2 at some points...very videogame like feel to it. I have to say I loved it!

I agree. I thought it had a very Silent Hill feel to it. I really liked it. The actual plot may have been a little thin but I thought the visuals were cool and there were some really funny parts. I also thought of the Clock Tower series (one, for some obvious reasons) but also Virginia reminded me of Clock Tower 3 a bit.
