Why Was Everyone Constantly Up In Miss Carrie's Bidnizz?

I mean she never really did anything suspicious. First, that man from her ex's work recognized her and told Ashley's dull boyfriend about how her husband murdered the hooker, but I don't get why the dim boyfriend's brother and everyone else had to play Ms. Detective and ruin Miss Carrie's last chance at happiness, I mean she is getting up there. Couldn't they just be grateful that Miss Carrie saved Ashley's life?

Then that nosy old broad who just wanders around Miss Carrie's and Anna Banana's residence looking to gossip and tell everyone about their personal business and trysts. Then Ashley won't let Miss Carrie or her dad be happy, and she has to tear them apart. Ashley wouldn't stop calling the hotel, how rude! I feel sorry for Miss Carrie, she got sent to Cookoo Bananasburg solely because Ashley and company had nothing better to do than destroy her life. I mean Miss Carrie's sole flaw was the fact that she insisted on donning a highly unattractive hairstyle, she obviously doesn't have a gay in her life. :-(
