Great until the 50 minute mark

I was really digging this film until around the 50 minute mark when the 3 remaining people decided to trust Mary (ashley bell). Personally I would have just killed her ass. I would have loved if the rest of the film just focused on the 3 survivors battling the cannibals. But instead, it took a stupid turn.

Shannon was the only smart character and of course she ends up dead. That really pissed me off. This was supposed to be a movie about no morals but instead it tries to and really just ruins the brutality of a post apocalyptic world.

**Spoilers**

Shannon was pretty annoying.

And IIRC, she's the one who wanted to stay really bad and probably the reason most are dead.

It's great how this movie falls into the same category that is plaguing the horror genre and bringing it down. The Final Girl cliche runs rampant in this one. And it does so with a vengeance. Just *beep* right off with that tired burned out and extremely overused cliche in these sorts of movies.

"As lightning fills the air. Mjollnir does it's work. The dreadful serpent roars in pain"

Agreed, but for different reasons. The principle one being the complete stupidity of the attackers. First they send in three, then a couple more, then some more, then the kid (by accident), etc. politely giving the other side plenty of time to catch their breath after killing off each wave.

Until they FINALLY go all-in, but obviously they casually stroll in at that point and do so in broad daylight...

When I'm gone I would like something to be named after me. A psychiatric disorder, for example.

They never really trusted her but like the one guy said they needed the muscle. She had also shown from the first fight that she was the most capable killer. There was also the part where the lead cannibal said that he recognized the look or lack of look in her eyes. She had seen that type of siege before because she had done it before. Her knowledge of fortification against the attack was one of the things that helped them survive the night.

Again, it wasn't trust so much as the enemy of my enemy concept. She seemed intent on killing the other guys and like the last two surviving males mentioned she had ample opportunity to kill them all. For example, she had traveled with them so could have killed them in their sleep. She also could have left when the guys were trapped and the two women attacked the house from different angles.

If she was leading them into a trap then it made sense for her to keep them alive and survive the night so she was probably no immediate threat to their survival. If she was just out to kill as many cannibals as possible then she was still no threat to them.

The real *beep* part was the decision to take her bullets. Once they survived the siege the decision to kill her or part ways could have been made. It was really *beep* to leave her for dead when she had saved at least two of their lives over the course of the night.
