This only made $20K and only made it into 16 theaters ?

I can't believe this film that was something different and had a much more interesting story than say World War Z which was big this summer couldn't stay in the theaters longer and make more than $20K. Seriously the plot was interesting and not the norm for movies in recent years. The atmosphere of the movie was made spooky and created tension for me watching what would happen next just by the way they shot it. The color, the lighting = different and awesome. It totally suited this flick.
Oh and a surprise for me was I was expecting another zombie flick coming at me when I saw the group of people together at first but then over time I realized no this is actually something different. YAY !
Seriously there were no flaws to this movie. The soundtrack was awesome. I could listen to the music for it without the movie being on.
People clearly missed the boat with this one as it is totally a 7 out of 10 movie which for me means the plot was interesting and made sense and was entertaining enough that I would pay to see it at a theater if it came out again. Now with that said I will be buying the blu-ray when I find it in stores somewhere. I know it has been released and I highly recommend that others pick it up too cuz the guys that made this movie deserved to get more than $20K for their efforts.
With all the bad movies that earned way more in the last 10 years I think it is a clear sign that people's taste has gotten worse and many don't know what a good movie is if it hit them right in the forehead.
