Ashley Bell

I made it through most of the movie because of her. In fact she is what attracted to me in the first place. Her performance in TLE was awesome. I wanted to see her more grown up. She did pretty good. But even with her skill the dialogue killed any chance of this movie being good. Not to be harsh but seriously. The movie had zero character development, and basically no plot. The script consists of a couple of people who have survived some sort of apocalypse being stranded in a barn running from some weird people. It is never even really clarified what these people were. It is brushed on but left widely ambiguous. Waste of money and time. Please do not watch. Find something else.

Oh yeah. TLE. That. Okay.

The movie could have been much better, but it was fun to watch Ashley Bell did a good job at playing a killing machine.

Ashley Bell was excellent as tough and scrappy loner Mary.

I'm a totally bitchin' bio writer from Mars!

I really liked her in this, her scrappy look, a tough young lady. Her face reminded me of someone else but for weeks I couldn't put my finger on who. Then it suddenly came to me....Marlo Thomas, especially around mouth area. But Ann Marie and Mary didn't share much in common.

Having no idea who she was (I'd seen her in other movies but didn't make the connection) I thought she came off as someone much older who had been through hell.
She reminded me a lot of 'Carol' on The Walking Dead.

(Mary) would be awesome on TWD. She'd be a badass female Daryl.

Yeah.

He's nothing next to Bart Taylor.

reply

She actually was on the Walking Dead or at least the Oath Webisodes. Not the tough Mary style person though.

Just been watching The Day (2011) and I was absolutely stunned by Ashley's acting in this. She's a fantastic actress. In all her scenes, I didn't really notice the other actors much, she just killed it...superb. I hope she has much continued success in film & tv, we need to see more of her.
