Final girl ending
I am getting frikkin tired of this final girl surviving thing. I can't remember the last film I have seen where a single guy survives.
I've seen several "final boy" endings.
Evil Dead
The Shortcut
Final Destination
Dead Souls
The Hitcher
The Mist
The Thing
Pitch Black
And aren't there final boys in some entries of slasher movie franchises like Friday The Thirteenth, Saw, Hostel, and Nightmare on Elm Street?
I love the movie The Thing, but I wouldnt write that it counts here, as there were only men in the 1982 The Thing. 2011 The Thing has both genders, and a women survives and two men in that one.
