In a country where the majority are educated and irreligious who is the audience supposed to be for this crap? Are we really supposed to discount the fact that sleep paralysis happens to most people and means nothing and believe instead that old(?) Swedish folklore was right after all that revenant ghosts are killing babies?

Maybe you misunderstand the film?

It's the story about a man who goes insane and can't tell what's real from what isn't anymore. The baby died from sudden infant death syndrome.

It's a psychological horror film about one man's suffering and what it's like to lose ones family.
