I loved this

I laughed till it hurt at some scenes.

Fantastic little film. Touching and funny plus wonderful cinematography.

Agreed! I got to see it yesterday at a film festival, and it was probably my favorite film so far.

Funny, touching, lovely to look at, also had a few quirky characters but still managed to keep a sense of realism.

It didn't have that much of an ending, but I felt satisfied when it was over nonetheless. One of those movies you should just sit back and experience.

It was poignant and atmospheric. I loved the photography and soundtrack. The acting was great from the actors, especially the 3 youngsters. Paul Bartel who played Dany is a young talent and one to watch.

The script was quirky as were the characters, in particular Beef. Why's he called beef and not Bull? :D

My favourite was when Seth pretended he was 15.
Zak: You're not even 14
Seth: I'm 13 and 3/4s
Zak: That's not 15

To say a little often is to tell more than to say a great deal.

They are really quite great, you're right.

And, to me, the situation itself - 'alone without parents' - was interesting (even though the circumstances take away much of the fun of this 'freedom-time'),
plus they were quite brave in it, - I was inspired by that.

Btw (can't help saying:)), it was Zak who lied about his age. Cool character ))

I watched this yesterday and enjoyed it a lot. The three actors were great, and the cinematography was beautiful. I'm going to buy the DVD soon.
