Does anyone recall if they did an open casting call for any (and all) twins? Meaning that they were not just looking within those who are actors or are/were attending some sort of Theatre School.

sprouses were given the show by disney. for the other twins in the movie they did a major nationwide casting call and went to twins festivals. i dont think any of them came from a theatre school
shareAccording to IMDB, the main female twins and the european twins were both prior actors...unsure about the rest, as the list here only gives the four twins.
shareThe rest of the twins are just extras. They have casting calls for those. Anyone that talks in the movie, have to be real legit actors.
