Decent enough film, but, I (and a couple behind me) were thinking the same thing as the father Paul (Niels Arestrup) was trapped in the wine facility at the end - what about his Cell Phone?

Paul is seen at several crucial points in the movie using his Cell - so, why not once he got locked in?

Oversight? Or, just hoping the audience wouldn't question it?

I have a cellar at what looks like similar depth, and obviously they don't work underground!

Yes I also figured there was no reception in the cellar. They could've shown him trying and failing to make a call - would've been more dramatic.
