can this get Oscar noms

If it doesn't get a cinema release atall, if it can it should be up for best animaated film but i'm not sure about the Academy's rules

Yes, it was given a limited theatrical release in LA and NY simultaneous with its Netflix release so that it would be eligible for Academy Awards.

I guess it's a case of "too little, too late"; there are A LOT of potential nominees this year, but who knows?

no because the oscars don't give a crap about animated films.
It's basically a 100% guarantee that some disney/pixar film wins every year, because the voters will vote for a film they've actually seen and the one that their kids love. >:c
