yes, it's one of my favorites. this movie can't hold a candle to it. BTW watch "westworld" and then tell me Cameron did not get inspiration for "the terminator" from it.

Yep I remember it. Yul Brenner had problems while making it. He had to use eye drops for the contacts he used for the robot eyes and one day he over medicated himself and had to wait for it to wear off so he could see clearly. There was also a sequel titled "Futureworld" that was set after the events of "Westworld" in which two of the characters were reporters who were supposed to report on how the company that made the robots from "Westworld" had fixed everything. Peter Fonda & Blythe Danner played the reporters.

"Westworld" is definitely one of those movies I can watch over and over again. "Robotropolis" not so much, but I think it's a good flick to watch late at night if you're a fan of the robot run amok genre.

I definitely agree with the idea that inspired "Terminator". In fact, first time I saw it my Dad walked in, pointed to the TV and said of Yule Brynner's Cowboy, "He was the first Terminator".

"Futureworld" isn't nearly as good, but is still a fun movie. It's more like this, not as clever as it is trying to be, but still entertaining.
