Almost Five Years Later....

I saw this movie in 2011. I lived at Oakwood from the time I moved to L.A. in 2007 to 2008. I attended a scam of a film school (New York Film Academy) that was just across the street at the time.
Memories....
The studio kids who walked around in packs at Oakwaood were generally sweet, but kind of creepy in how they all had "Disney personalities."
As you guys saw in the doc, A LOT of people here try to play the con game of "you have a lot of talent. Just pay me thousands and I'll get you to that next level." (These words are either implied or outright stated.)
But no one in this city knows what the hell they're doing. I've done stand up comedy for five years. We see "teachers" even in my field, and I was dumb enough to take a class. I gained one ultra-valuable and important piece of advice from the class then didn't attend the rest of that scam.

ANYWAY, I'm most happy that the ultra-annoying Presley Cash (the girl who is featured on the poster for this film) didn't go anywhere.
Maybe there is justice.
I'm also actually mildly sad to see that the Colorado girl returned here and is doing close to nothing like so many other people.

The Colorado girl seemed genuinely sweet, but that mother of hers--yikes. You could tell she had some 'cray' in her just from her eyes.

And "Presley Ca$h" (massive violent eye roll) probably thinks she's hot shit from merely being featured in this documentary.
