Hugh Jackman as Valjean
Anne Hathaway as Fantine
Emma Watson as Cossette
Helena Bonham Carter as Madame Thenardier
Russell Crowe as Javert
Geoffrey Rush as Thenardier

Crazy! I've never heard any of these people sing, has anyone else? By the way, I'm not making this up, I got it right here on IMDB, the pre-production site for the musical movie. They're hoping for a December 2012 release. Boy I hope it doesn't suck!

EDIT: Hmmm it would appear that even IMDB call fall for rumors, now they're saying Watson will NOT be in it.

I have heard all of them sing except for Emma Watson. IMO, Jackman and Hathaway are the most accomplished singers among them.

Yep, rumor that IMDb confirmed. I heard that they backed away from Emma because she had become too old (does THAT ever make me feel ancient). What's funny is that the newly cast Marius is around 30, and they're considering Cossettes over 25. Hmmm. Maybe Emma just can't sing.

Anyone can confirm on here,like wikipedia as lon as you have pro you can pretty much add anything and make it up, never take anything on here as fact. She was never in consideration for the role, it was just an internet rumour.

Geoffrey Rush as Thenardier is PERFECT casting. Can totally imagine him in this role.

It looks like Eddie Redmayne will be Marius. That should be awesome. The guy can act and has training at Eton College.
